Gunner's side escape hatch in the open position with signal satchel strapped in its stowage position on the inside. Note the Gunner's seat is in the lowest position possible to allow egress in and out of the vehicle.

Driver's seat as seen from above with petrol tank mounted behind it. This seat has two positions and it is shown in the lower location. The handle at the left side of the seat as seen in this photograph will raise the seat or the higher position which is approximately five inches higher. Instrument panel is in front of the driver who sits at an angle due being beside the front tyre. Note Bren gun on the floor in one of two stowage positions. The alternate stowage position is vertical against the fuel tank where the it can be strapped to a bracket and more readily available in a hurry.

Gunner's seat which can be raised incrementally to approximately 18 inches off the floor. Once raised four inches off the floor, it can rotate 360 degrees. It can be locked down at floor level facing forward or backward but the escape hatch is really only functional when locked down facing forward. Note the signal satchel on the escape hatch and the map case mounted above it. And Enfield Number 4 Mark I rests in its stowage brackets behind the crew.

View of the Bren gun in its firing position. There was no mounting so the gunner simply held it in place when patrolling or firing. Spare Bren gun barrel is mounted above two grenade containers each holding three Number 77 smoke grenades. Two addition grenade contains are below and they each contain three Number 36 fragmentation grenades. The Bren gunner spares wallet is in a metal fitting connected to the lower grenade case bracket. Magazines sit in a rack beneath the Bren gun.
